About Resilience COunseling in Akron, Ohio
Resilience is personal to US.
Resilience is not just our name—it is a part of who we are.
The career path that led us to establish Resilience Counseling is an illustration of the things we’re passionate about in our personal lives and the relationships we choose to cultivate. We believe wholly in every individual’s right to safety and security in their relationships so much that it became our greatest passion.
We believe that having space to engage in your connections with vulnerability and support is your right. Beginning a therapeutic relationship offers you the opportunity to do so with curiosity and an emphasis on your own strength.

Therapeutic Themes That Will Define Our Work Together
Create your comfort
It can be difficult to live authentically when you can’t hear your voice over the judgment of others. Our personal power to create our own comfort is important to me.
The emotional lens of life
I strive to live a life viewed through feelings and experiences that are supported by evidence and facts—not the other way around. Creating space for compassionate honesty is an important part of that.
With head and heart
Being approachable and accurate are priorities for me—I strive to create a space of authenticity focused on the emotional experience that’s individual to us all and informed by the collective history we share.
